We’re down the final day of the Baba’s Dumplings and soup noodle pop-up at EatsPlace, after extending our residency a week due to popular demand, so if you haven’t come to check them/us out, please do!
We’re excited to announce our next chef in resident! EcoFriendly Presents: BevEgg’s Pork & Grits will make cured and smoked meats, and a customizable grits bar that’s vegetarian friendly. Dessert will include pastries and Dolcezza gelato. Lead by Beverley Eggleston, their mission is to create sustainable networks of enlightened farmers who raise eco-friendly livestock and food crops that nourish people and the land. They focus on humanely raised, locally grown, and specially bred livestock from a regional network of farmers.
Bev and EcoFriendly Foods have been featured in TIME Magazine , The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Edible Manhattan, Food and Wine, Bon Appétit, Saveur, and Gourmet Magazine, just to name a few. The company continues to grow in strength and recognition as a leader in sustainable meats and regional food systems.
The pop-up will soft open starting this Friday (2/6) starting at 5:30 until the food runs out and then regular hours, including brunch, starting on Sunday (2/7). BevEggs Pork & Grits will be at EatsPlace through brunch on Sunday, February 22.
