I found a leaf on the sidewalk that was variegated in all of falls colors. Broad and glossy, it was green, yellow, orange and red. It was all the season’s change captured in a single, perfect leaf. I took it home and placed it on my desk, intending to take a photo to show you. Life got busy, as it does, and when I looked at it again, the leaf had curled and turned brown.
The season’s changing again and I’m thinking soup to warm our bodies and spirits. Handmade wontons and noodles in a rich broth with ginger and white pepper for heat. Takoyaki’s myriad of flavors and textures in one steamy bite stays on too. And instead of documenting it with pictures, I simply invite you to come to EatsPlace and experience it before it’s gone.
